Free calls from BT landlines using 0870

Briing.com can't currently offer free international calls from BT landlines with a calling plan.

The 1st of August 2009 BT changed their outpayments on 0870 numbers meaning that customers no longer can make free international calls on 0870 numbers.

We have a new service free international calls from mobile phones try it today, it's cheap calls and some of the calls are free!

BT announced that from 16th January 2009
calls to numbers starting 0870 will be included in Calling Plans
and therefore free to dial from BT landlines at certain times.
In other words, calls to these numbers are now automatically
included in BT calling plans.

Do I need to sign up for this offer to get free international calls with BT?
No there are no sign up requirements to get these calls included within your Calling Plan. All BT customers on a calling plan will automatically get them.

Are there any other call restrictions?
BT have stated that they will continue to charge for 0870 numbers used for “dial-up” and “indirect access” services, however have yet to publish any details of numbers to be excluded from this offer. In addition a fair usage policy applies which limits users to a per call duration of 60 minutes, a maximum of 150 calls and or a limit of 1000 minutes per month free calls. Are there any 'catches' or hidden charges in using your service?
There is no catch! Briing will make no charge for calling the service. Please make sure you understand what your service provider will charge you for calls to this numbers. These calls may now be included in your Calling Plan!

What if I make a call outside of the calling plan restrictions? (How much will it cost?)
This will vary depending on the telephone service provider. BT customers can find details on the BT website at http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=25502 Call0870 will make no charge to you for calls to the service.

Will I receive another bill from you?
No, you will only be billed by your existing service provider for calls to our access number.

Why can I call some destinations 24/7 but other 24/5 or 8/6Monday to Friday only?
Because of the cost of connecting calls to different destinations around the world varies, the rates we are offered by the telecoms operators reflect this. Therefore you will notice some of the destinations available do have calling time restrictions.
